About Us
How it began
Just Massage began as a collaborative effort between Action for the City (a local non profit organization) and Maryknoll (an American Catholic Mission organization working as an NGO in Vietnam) to recruit, train, and help visually impaired poor youth, to establish and run their own massage center in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Both organizations have a shared mission in reaching out to disadvantaged groups.
Who we are
We are a group of visually impaired certified and professional massage therapists who are trained in Shiatsu and Swedish Therapeutic massage with additional coursework in human anatomy, hygiene, business and marketing skills.
Update
Following much discussion between Maryknoll and ACCD, about the project and business of Just Massage, we have concluded that we cannot come to a common ground in terms of partnership. Therefore, Maryknoll will discontinue the partnership by the end of March 2008. From that time, Maryknoll will have no responsibility or obligations regarding the center or any of its activities.
