Meet Our Therapists
Nguyen Thu Trang – Tu Liem, Hanoi
I joined Just Massage because I wanted to find a proper and stable job. I have found massage and bodywork to be very suitable for me. I hope Just Massage will develop strongly so that we can have stable income.
Nguyen Van Ha – Gia Lam, Hanoi
When I registered for the training course, I wanted to have a stable job to support my family and myself. Since coming, I have had much fun with my new friends, teachers, and project staff persons. I can share many things about my life. At first, I didn’t like massage very much but now I really enjoy it. In the future I hope to help more people improve their health.
Nguyen Thi He – Gia Lam, Hanoi
I joined this project because I want to be economically self-sufficient and understand more about the world of the visually-impaired. I feel more confident and integrated into society. When I do massage for someone, I am happy to see them relaxed. I like massage a lot. I hope Just Massage will develop not only for my future but also for the future of my friends here.
Nguyen The Cong - Tu Liem, Hanoi
Being a visually-impaired person, I really wanted to find a proper and stable job. That’s the reason I joined this project. I like massage because my visual limitations are no barrier. I hope I can pursue this career forever.
Le Thi Thuy Dung – Gia Lam, Hanoi
At Just Massage, I’m able to have stable work, learn many new things in a new environment, and make more friends. I like massage because it helps people to be healthy. I believe this project will be successful, giving us a good job and more experience so we can help many people
Nguyen Kha Dat – Dong Anh, Hanoi
I decided to join this project when I found out that this career and these skills are very helpful both for society and for myself. I like massage because it gives me a chance to help clients improve their health. At the same time, it is a very appropriate occupation for me. I hope I can master it well and in turn do some small thing for the visually-impaired.
Update
Following much discussion between Maryknoll and ACCD, about the project and business of Just Massage, we have concluded that we cannot come to a common ground in terms of partnership. Therefore, Maryknoll will discontinue the partnership by the end of March 2008. From that time, Maryknoll will have no responsibility or obligations regarding the center or any of its activities.
We thank you in advance for your continued support and encouragement of the current therapists and students working at the center.
